V-Scan is an app to scan barcodes with your iPhone, using the built-in camera or an external Linea pro scanner, and send the result directly to a hosted FileMaker server database. The app send the barcode information with the geolocation, UUID, user identification and timestamps. All the data sent to the server populate a FileMaker database table that can be bind with any other FileMaker database. The app itself can query the database in order to let the user see their latest scans and can also map previous scans. The user can also manually insert barcode and delete from the app. Requirements : You MUST have... - a FileMaker server - the admin console, free from our website (www.v-hiculemedia.com), that let you manage barcodes and insert know places to be resolved in the app. - V-Scan or V-Scan Lite app (on iphone or Ipod touch) The app is compatible with external barcode reader Lin a Pro 4 from Infinite Peripherals. V-Scan Lite is the free version of the V-Scan app with ads. It work the same as V-Scan, except it can only connect to a database with guest access.
